CLARK MILLS The Clark Mills American Legion Post #26 has scheduled Memorial Day weekend events in the Westmoreland and Clark Mills area. On May 24 at 5 p.m., the drill team will conduct prayers, lay wreaths, offer a rifle salute and play taps at nine local cemeteries and monuments. On May 25 at 9:30 a.m., a ceremony will be held at Westmoreland Town Green, followed by a parade to Westmoreland Cemetery. At 11 a.m., another parade will begin at Kirkland Cemetery, with a stop on the bridge to salute Navy veterans, and a final ceremony at Post #26 in Clark Mills. UTICA The Utica Center for Development is hosting its Memorial Day Parade at 10 a.m. on May 25. The parade will start at 2222 Genesee St. and end at the Parkway Recreation Center. NEW YORK MILLS The Village of New York Mills will hold its annual Memorial Day Parade and commemoration ceremony on May 25. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at Elm Street and proceed down Main Street to Pulaski Park. A ceremony will follow at Pulaski Park, featuring a wreath-laying, patriotic music, a rifle salute and remarks. CLINTON The Village of Clinton will honor 250 years of hometown heroes with its Memorial Day parade on May 25. The parade will start at 9 a.m. on College Street at the bridge over Oriskany Creek and end at the Village Green. A remembrance ceremony will take place immediately after the parade. NEW HARTFORD The New Hartford Fire Department will present its annual parade on May 25, with step-off at 7 p.m.
